In order to free up and better manage IP space, we will be migrating Node404. On Friday, December 2nd, we will begin migrating Node404 to a new server. The migration will be conducted over the weekend, and will be completed by Sunday evening. We will make every effort to make this migration as seemless as possible.
We’re currently experiencing some issues with the SAN on Node202. The SAN is in self-repair mode, and repairing after a failed disk. During this time, there might be slow website response, and/or timeouts.
Thank you for your patience.
UPDATE: Self-Repair is nearing it’s end. Server speeds should be returning to normal now.
On January 30th, 2011 at roughly 11:45PM the SAN powering the Node202 cloud suffered a failure, resulting in a read-only filesystem. Our team was alerted to the issue as soon as it occurred and began working on a solution. The system was brought back online around 4:30AM.
We apologize for this inconvenience. If anyone would like to be moved to our traditional hosting platform, please feel free to contact our accounts department: billing (at) webhostingperiod.com
On Wednesday, December 22nd at 3AM EST, we will be performing some maintenance on our SAN Storage unit for Node202. This should only last 30-40 minutes.
The SAN Node202 is currently running on is continuing to fail. So we are conducting an emergency repair. We are going to migrate it to a new SAN. It should only take 2 hours. Work will begin shortly.
Thanks for your time and patience.
UPDATE: Final migration has been completed.
